I really enjoyed the variation in cues and little cut scenes on the way, good balance of ambience and humor. freak/10

the biggest compliment ever from all 8 planets in the solar system

just doin' my part (really its EVERY planet not just the ones in our solar system so its like an unknown value you wouldnt get it)

incomprehensible amount of compliment

Freak o'Clock go crazy :3

Liked the game! Could use a bit of tweaking but was very nice! Dialogue was only in my left ear and sometimes I couldn't hear the freak before it caught me. Kinda wished the cooldown was a bit shorter on turning around but besides those was great! Keep it up! :3

Thank you so much for the support! I would love to send you a sneak peek of the new build if you would like. Otherwise check back October 25th for the full release! Thanks for playing.

it's freak o'clock

and ur right on time

Spooky, fun and well crafted game - although, I maybe need more than space to avoid the Freak lol.

This was a very simple, straight horror with unique concept, which I've seen before, but the fun element and jokey side really surprised me. I wish there were more events in the game and interactable story pieces, but for the game jam, this was solid.

Best of luck with the future games!

Thank you! I also wish I could add in more buttons and mechanics but for this game I'm going for something more straightforward because I'm also in a second contest where I have to develop a game only really controlled with a single button.

The events in the game are also my favorite part! There will be many more in the final release of the game near the end of October so follow if you'd like to see those!

I appreciate you playing my game!

Took me a while to figure out the mechanics but this has alot of potential for future games. I was playing this on stream with the sound lower and didn't realize it had sound cues. Once I turned the volume on my headphones up I realized you have to turn around when you hear the freak's movement and breathing. I love sound design and I feel like the way this mechanic is used has alot of potential. As someone who spent a month trying to learn Unity around a year ago, seeing a dev nail this game mechanic down in an aesthetically pleasing (to me) world in a month I think is pretty incredible. I'd like to see Ryder take this places. :) Also I got a good laugh out of the dialog and credits.

Hey thanks for playing! I updated the game to make it a little easier to understand what's happening because I also agree it was a little confusing. I appreciate the feedback and thanks!

Best game ever created by humankind. I have remarried my wife and quit drugs because of how impactful this game was in my life

In all seriousness, very FREAKing cool game😎. The mechanics, voice acting, ambiance of the sound, and immersion are very on point and it has a lot of replayability- I keep wanting to speedrun it :) Awesome work dude!!
